The BSW Regional Strategic Fire Management Committee was established in November 2008 and has a membership that includes Local municipal councils (x 9 Borough of Queenscliffe, City Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire , Colac Otway Shire , Corangamite Shire , Moyne Shire, Warrnambool City Council, Glenelg Shire & Southern Grampians Shires); Country Fire Authority (CFA); Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE); Parks Victoria (PV); Department of Human Services (DHS); Department of Primary Industry (DPI); Rail Authority/ies; Utilities; Vic Roads; Victoria Police; Victoria State Emergency Service (SES); Department Planning & Community Development (DPCD); Catchment Management Authorities (CMA’s).
