Southern Metro Region

The Southern Metropolitan Regional Strategic Fire Management Planning Committee was established in 2009 This regional committee has a membership representing the Country Fire Authority, Department of Sustainability and Environment, Parks Victoria, Metropolitan Fire Brigade, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Department of Human Services, Department of Planning and Community Development, Department of Primary Industries, State Emergency Service, Victoria Police, VicRoads, Melbourne Water, SP-Ausnet, Cardinia Shire, Mornington Peninsula Shire, Casey City Council, Frankston City Council, Stonnington City Council and Kingston City Council. The committee has recently released the Southern Metropolitan Regional - Fire Management.
